Inspections

Atlantic Technical Management Inspectors are part of an extensive team that cover the United States, Canadian Maritimes and the Wider Caribbean.  Each Inspector has been hand selected to join the ATM team.  We place a great deal of importance on the integrity and experience of each Inspector.

The founders of ATM were some of the original OCIMF vetting inspectors. The OCIMF inspection program has been instrumental in changing an industry for the better.

ATM has a core group of Category 1 and 3 inspectors located on the East and Gulf coasts of the US.  The inspectors experience ranges from Deep Sea Masters to Chief Engineers to USCG Marine inspectors.   We have conducted over 10,000 inspections on Oil, Chemical and Gas vessels, as well as inland, Deepsea and Articulated tugs and barges.

We are approved to conduct inspections for the majority of the oil majors.  We strive with each inspection to be cost effective and timely in the preparation of all documentation.

Our team like approach and constantly evaluating conditions in the industry provides a peer network for our inspectors .   In addition, we hold an annual team meeting focuses upon industry trends as well as the latest OCIMF requirements.

COVID - 19

Our priority has been and will continue to be the health and safety of our inspectors and customers.  Many of our inspectors have adapted to work at home protocols but our Inspectors are on the front lines of the Oil, Gas and Chemical Industries.  We have been a leader in establishing health and safety protocols to govern our Inspectors interactions with shipping personnel.  Our standards exceed the practices promoted by OCIMF, WHO and US Federal and State guidelines.   We are happy to provide our specific protocols to our customers . As we navigate this crisis our policies and procedures will continue to evolve in response to new information and techniques that are developed to promote wellbeing.

Atlantic Technical Management has been working with all our clients to continue to provide services during these extraordinary times.  We developed safe working practices in line OCIMF, WHO, and Federal and State Guidelines.  We are checking in daily with our people to insure they and their families are healthy and safe.  In addition, we are following up with anyone we have been in contact with to let them know we are healthy and to make sure they are too.

As we emerge from the world wide event, ATM will have learned to adjust to changes and adopt new safety policy and procedures that will keep us all healthy. We have remained vigilant and have prioritized vaccinating all inspectors while continuing to adhere to CDC Guideline.
